I have been looking into it as well. Are you getting the stock bumper or something different?

I think there are two stock bumpers you can get.

So long as you order a bumper for an SS, you're good. Also be aware that all other plastic trim inserts are separate parts. You will have to re-use the plastic insert from the "mail slot" you're referring to. There's also literally nothing behind it. It's purely a cosmetic piece.

I am replacing it with the stock SS bumper, thanks RenegadeXR I wonder if the "mail slot" piece is a simple snap on/off piece like the grill and lower grill are, anyone ever remove it?

It shouldn't be hard to remove once you get the actual bumper off. You can access the clips from inside.
