Dyno results

I got my car dyno tuned recently and happy with the results. It's a 1SS , rotofab CAI, flex fuel, Lt2 intake, TSP long tube headers and the run was on E85 She made right under 480whp and feels strong!

That looks like 6th gear, too, so you might be up another 20-30 in 7th, which I know is 1:1 on a 10L90 - not sure about the ratios in your '80.

Good numbers though.

odd that it made more hp than tq. any baseline numbers? trap speeds?

I wish we would have made a baseline run for it. But I brought the car to my tuner with a rotofab installed and he put on the headers, lt2 intake and the flex fuel kit , was then street tuned since a dyno wasn’t available, then couple weeks later was tuned on the dyno for straight e and produced these numbers.

The end of this month I have a trackday planned to see how bad I suck at 1/4 mile. It’ll be my first time going to this sort of track. I have a road racing background but on motorcycles so way different!

I tried using launch control and it just spun the tire on the line, that didn't work. Tried revving around 1500rpm and the higher I went the more it didn't like it or I would start spinning on the line. Got some slips here showing times






After the track was prepped, I got an 11.9 and went home. Was going to be pretty pissed if I didn't get an 11 something!



I then made a second trip to the track and had some changes. Removed Lt2 intake back to stock, removed rotofab CAI went back to stock, removed flex fuel sensor and was running 93 octane. Kept the damn passenger seat and rubber floor mats, kept the same tune that was in the car previously. Ran rear at 25 and the front at 42. First run I ran right after the hour long drive and did 12.4, then let the car cool down a bit and got a call my kid wouldn't behave so got one last hit and ran 12.2





So all in all I gained .3 from removing seat, mats, e85, lt2 intake, rotofab..
If you click on the pics it will show the DA was high and talking to some people they said the track was slick.

What's crazy is I ran 12.0 on the street with Michelin PS4s with the car tuned with all the modifications on the car.... so I ran .1 faster at the track w a better tire :(

I was going to invest quite a bit in boosting mine. I had a bad experience with the individual who sold me a blower and it completely turned my off from the project so thought it would be smart to buy one already setup from factory boosted w / forged internals.
