It only pays 1 hour GM book time so yes they are high unless they've never done one and are cushioning themselves by doubling the time.

Go to any dealership and talk to the guys that do the LPO installs, they will hook you up.

I would go to a Dealer to have the new grill installed. In order to install the new grill the complete front bumper needs to be removed from the car. I watched the lethal camaro video that shows them swapping grills and it is not an easy swap to do.

The back of the RS badge has mounting posts that fit in the slots of the mounting plate. There's two screw holes in the back of the mounting plate and the smaller backing plate. The notch in the backing plate goes on the back side of the grille and lines up with a tab. You would then need to screw the backing plate to the RS mounting plate, with the point in the grille sandwiched in between. Hope this makes sense. It would be difficult to attach if the grille is already installed since the screws tap into the plastic as you tighten them.

Makes sense, thank you. I could kind of see the plate thing and that it was screwed to the grille. Just wanted to see how the emblem was attached to that plate. Thanks!!

Does anyone know where I can find black RS badge with pins for front grille (regular or SEMA)? Can't seem to find it anywhere.

Any black ones I've seen don't have the pins and any search for the part #92225496 only brings up the red RS emblem. Non pin black emblems on Amazon.

Yea, I got the flat black ones from Amazon (great quality btw). I'll probably use them and hope the tape is strong enough to hold it, ha.

I finally had mine done today and all I can say is wow, extremely happy with the outcome

I'm still waiting for the black RS emblem for upper grille and ZL1Addons license plate holder.
Now it needs a bath after all the dealership tortures.

very nice!! i tried to look up that plate with the part number that is on the back of it from your photo and nothing pops up. i figured it would be easier to get a blank plate like you have now and put my new emblem on it and then try and figure out how to swap the plate out without taking my bumper off, than trying to go the fishing line route and deal with the glue.
