Steering wheel/shift knob cover

Taking my 1LE in for it’s first service next week and I’m a bit worried about my Alcantara steering wheel and shift knob after hearing about someone’s getting ruined by a mechanic who drove the car with greasy hands. Anyone know of any covers available that would work to protect my steering wheel and shift knob?

Just do your own oil changes like the rest of us.

Then you can pull a good sample to send off to Blackstone for testing.

Dealer uses plastic shower cap looking wheel cover and shifter cover on my last service. I asked the service manager about it and he said yep we use them always. If you’re really worried about it which I don’t blame you. I would ask your service provider if they do . Doesn’t hurt to ask and it may save you some trouble. Any kind of leather and grease don’t mix well.
