new PBs cam only. 11.60!

Well went out for the first time since fall. No changes to the car, but I think the converter is broken in!
Last fall, around 375ft da car went 11.63 @ 119.7 with my best 60ft of 1.71. 1/8th mile 7.50s

New best between 900-980ft Da!
11.60@118.8 with a 1.67
Best 60ft 1.65! But blew my shift :(
Best 1/8th 7.40s!

Super happy, Bo white ported heads on the way!

Thanks guys, th400 is the sh$t! Car is working really good, going to get out allot this year and really get down on my driving. Think with the heads and some fall air I can go lower 11s. At some point I need a trailer, the 3.45 gear and th400 is not a good match but it's working better then I figured. I never thought I could get a 1.65 out of this setup, heads might help me drop it some still!

I wonder what your 1.65 would have resulted in?

My guess, 11.56... I was kicking myself in the car when I got nervous! I seen the 1.65 on the bored and freaked out and short shifted way to freaking early and lost like 3 mph in trap!

That would have been another impressive pass. Has the car been dyno'd?

For the track 3.91 rear gear would set it off and help the car a lot with your 60' and E/T. The down side at 65 mph on the highway would put you a little over 3000 rpm.

I'm run 3.91 rear gear and 28" D tire with the 4L80 trapping in 3rd between 6600 to 6700 rpm at 135 mph.

Ya it's to much right now. 1.5hr ride to the track, keeping up with traffic is tuff and I am spinning 3000-3200 probably about 70. I am going to get a trailer some point, then get 3.73s so it's still manages to get down the highway ok.

Wonder what 3.91s and heads would do for ya? I'm thinking about a TH400 myself when I spray the car.

So Damn lucky Bo! Hopefully the weather don't get crazy hot before I get out there with the heads. I am gonna try to get another trip to the track possibly next week to try again for that 11.5
