I asked the same thing in this thread and here is his response. My concern is that in a separate thread it is stated they are working with Corsa on R&D for this system. If that was the case Corsa would have required dyno number before and after. Their ZL1 system is (only) good for 6hp and 7lb/ft. I have a hard time believing the system on an NA motor would even pick up 1/2 of that. Now weight savings would be nice!

The larger pipe Very well could make that flow number better but it hasn't been tested at this point. Weight, my bad I didn't weight it personally but was told it was less. I'll try to weight the two systems and let everyone know more as well as results once mother nature allows..... Damn freezing rain today

My information is from Corsa I have no reason to question the information. They test all the stock systems vs. corsa on a Super -Flo Flow bench

Wait for the end of the year there will be big sales. I was at my friends Chevy dealership he owns tonight. He told me there was a regional report floating around that as of the 1st of March there were over 700, 2015 Z/28's still on dealers lots, and 41, 2014's. When the 2016's are announced I am sure prices will fall. Might be why there holding it so long???

Could be removed and factory system install in minutes!
Actually the first thing I would do (be it a Z/28 or ZL1) would be to rip the factory NPP out and install a CORSA system!
I've had CORSA's on my last three trucks, and my current SS,plus I've sold many of their systems to friends and customers at work, can't ask for a better system out there!

Honestly Im surprised at the amount of owners selling their z/28's. Low mile examples too, 300 miles, 600, etc.....wondering why, if it is the ride is worse than they anticipated or it does not live up to their expectation. I think its a marvelous car, and GM has proved that it is a verneble track car, but may they should have shown its not utterly unreal as a daily driver if one choose to do so. I wonder what will happen to the resale of the vehicle in later years.......either way....I love this car

Have noticed that to, Cars.com has a lot of them. My dealer had sold 2014 in Dec. and the young man came back to them begging for them do buy it back the $900.00 a month payment was killing him! I wonder how many of those are out there! The salesman said the car sat on there lot for 13mos and the owner did not want it back.

I think there are some who may be flipping cars. Quite a few were purchased in the heat of last years 20% promotion where you regularly would see 14 & 15 model years selling at or below $55,000.

The buyer had no intention of keeping the car. Miles were related to the drive from the dealership to home base. I'll bet the drive home may have made some keep the car and change their thought process.

When I decided to purchase, I had no intention of selling. When the bow tie released the Z, I knew I wanted one. It was just a little out of reach. A little background here; The first car I ever purchased and first loan in my life was for a 69 Z/28 in Fathom Green. Loved that car! I was 19 at the time. Then life and the oil embargo hit :(

I was also a huge Carroll Shelby fan. Vaguely remember the 66 LeMans Ford GT40 finish. Fast forward several years. Career, marriage, first home, 2 boys, private schools and way too many cars later, GM released the Z/28.

I was very fortunate to be able to work for my childhood hero for several years prior to his passing. A dream come true. Had the Shelby blood in me. But I could not resist the opportunity to jump on the deal presented to me in December.
I have come full circle and without regret.

I knew what I was getting and drove 189 miles to get it. Sorry for the reminiscing but while completing the deal, the GM at the dealership tells me "great timing on your part, I was sick of looking at that car, you can easily sell that car and make money".

On the other hand, some who purchased may have not experienced anything like a Z/28 and miss the creature comforts and more daily compliant manners of a ZL1. Some are over their head in payments and insurance.

People sell their cars for many reasons, I doubt the Z is any different. I ordered mine a year ago and love it. Since buying mine I have been sent to work in Europe. I can either keep the car in the garage 3 weeks a month or selli it and put the money in the bank. Point is it has nothing to do with the car, I love it.

I really like the Z/28 but I can see many people buying this car because it "looks cool" and not have any intention of running it at the track for its intended purpose. I just purchased a set of Pirelli Trofeo take offs from a guy in MD that only had the car for a short period of time before trading it.
