Alain, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Thank you very much for this welcome, it is with pleasure that I would share what is in the refrigerator!
I had beautiful US cars yes it's true, but there I arrived at my dream, the camaro and with the silverado they go hand in hand!
my other dream, to be able to spend several weeks in your beautiful country, and to visit as many states as possible!

Salut. Bienvenue! J'ai visité Paris deux fois. If you have photo of your car someday you can show it parked near Eiffel Tower! How does one find the Camaro to buy in France? Are they used, new, imported?

Hi, the effeil tower is far from where I live and I don't like Pari and I wouldn't go with the camaro anyway!
The camaro was made especially for Europe with some differences so that it is approved by Europe!
The rear lights and mirrors are different and in Farnce we only had a V8 version the SS and they removed the acronym "SS", in relation to the second world war and Hitler's SS!
It's completely stupid, but that's France!

Externally:

The rear lights are different (in the form of glasses for the export version, double lights for the US version)
Exterior retros: larger, foldable and incorporating flashing repeaters on the export version (EU)
On 2012 versions, no roof antenna on the EU version
No headlight washer nozzles on the US version.
No V6 version in the US.

Interior:

Different steering wheel on US models before 2012, then they homogenized US and EU from 2012.
More basic dashboard on pre-2012 camaro: no faux leather medallion or aerator hubcaps

The equipment of the EU versions corresponds to the 2SS version of the US, there is no lower-end version unlike the US (1LS, 1LT, 2 LS, 2 LT, 1SS, 2SS)

Level suspensions, the EU versions are equipped with the FE4 as a base, which was an option in the US.
The electronic management box is specific to the EU version.
