Just want to revive this because I went to write my new NPP adjustments and it said it was three credits. I thought some mentioned it was only one credit on top of the ECM. Did the price go up that much already just to make exhaust valve changes lol?

The FSCM in 2018+ cars takes 3 credits to license. I made the same mistake too when I first tried to make NPP valve changes.

That sucks... Guess they will stay stock for the time being. Thanks for the reply!

It definitely hurt paying those extra 150 bucks but it is so worth it. Hearing the baffles close when I'm in sport mode drove me nuts..

Are you sure? I was only charged 9 credits (4 ECM, 4 TCM, 1 FSCM) with my 2018 2SS tune. Just double-checked my invoice.

I have a 2018 manual 1SS SS 1LE. I had to buy the required 4 credits for the pcm and 3 credits for the “CCM” chassis control module. I had to buy the CCM to control the NPP.

Aha, I see, no one gets a (cheap) break with HP Tuners, heh. At least still only 7 credits overall vs 9 for us auto folks.

What I did was turn off start rumble for tour. Left it on for sport and track.

I then opened the valves full in track. Sport I opened full except for 6th gear. I left the settings for that since you are really only going to be cruising highway in 6th. Tour I left alone.
