Don’t waste any time with dealers that have joke prices.
$33k for my ‘19 1SS A10 with 4mi on it before ttl. Why I didn’t get a 1LE and bc will never see a track.

Good luck!
Is VIP pricing the same as employee pricing? One dealer told me that today but I didn’t talking in details about it yet.

I bought 2SS 1LE MSRP $55,110 and price from dealer was $50,749.

$57,525 OTD, but CA tax is a killer. $1,600 of it was for shipping from ND to CA. Local dealers only have automatic 1LEs.

1LEs move quick with the manual. I tried to get a local one and waited a day to go visit the dealer. When I arrived it was getting cleaned up for the new owner. You should be good since all the deals seem to be on East Coast.

I think you got hosed on the "shipping" I ordered a 2020 2SS in SoCal (with an A10, NPP, MCR, Black Wheels, Footwell lighting, Red Calipers & Black Camaro fender badge) and didn't pay any additional shipping and paid about $4,000 below MSRP and got the exact car I wanted...

When you mention footwell lighting, is that part of the ambient lighting? I just test drove a 2021 black 2ss coupe tonight, it had the ambient lighting on doors and cupholder, but I didn't see any lights in footwells. I really think I like the 2SS seats better than the recaros, man too bad we can't order without the recaros 1LE, looks like its included in the package.

Footwell lighting is an add on that connects with the Spectrum Lighting in the 2SS... It'll change to match the color of the Spectrum Lighting...

Yep, it's this optional thingie here. Note that it isn't as bright as the picture would suggest, but still contributes a lot to a nice ambience at night.

The car already has cutouts for these RGB LEDs in the kick panels and accommodation for the wiring harness (except 1 T-tap one has to apply), but man, is that installation a chore on the passenger side. I had to lie on my back for half an hour, head squeezed into the footwell, trying to remove the panel below the glove box, install the light and (worst of all) reinstall the panel whose two rear bolts are waaaay in the back.

I agree, I thought it would be much brighter, but I've only driven my car 2-3 times at night so I haven't had a lot of chance to enjoy that feature yet. I did put black electrical tape over the white lights that normally light up the footwell...

I heard it was a pain so that was one option I elected to just order instead of trying to install myself...

Smart move, 2SS Capt.

I've been thinking about a front camera setup from Gen5DIY, but that means removing the HMI that, you guessed it, in turn requires dropping that dreaded panel again. Not only do I have to scrape the money together for it, the thought of going back to that panel makes me shudder
