10L90 vs 10L80 Gear ratio.
I am moving from a 2020 Camaro SS to a 2021 1LE with the 10 speed transmission. Where is the 10L90, 2.85 ratio different than the 2.77 ratio of the 10L80. I understand the duty rating difference, I am just having trouble finding all the gear specs to compare. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The SS1LE is not going to get the 10L90, it will have the same 10L80 as your current car and the gear ratio you are referring to is the rear differential ratio not the transmission.

Here's what GM authority showed. All the same but I'm not sure I trust the 10L80 numbers.

Given info that indicates 10L90 Is paired with the 2.85 rear gears, but found no clear info when I looked. My dealer May have led me astray, could be 10L80, which is not a bad thing. I had the 10L80 on my 2020 SS and it rocked.

The SS 1LE does not get the 10l90...only the ZL1 does. However the 10l80 equipped SS 1le does get the same ELSD differential with 2.85 gears as the 10l90 equipped ZL1.
