I just signed up for a track day through hooked on driving at thunder hill. It’ll be my first time, and I kinda liked what their website laid out for first timers. Should be educational.

Hooked on Driving is one of the better outfits to get started with. They have quite a lot of information for newbies/first timers on their website that you should take advantage of.

Hooked on Driving is a solid organization who do a decent job hand holding the beginners. If you want a really good experience, my gf and I (she has a ATS-V) did Sonoma's Sears Point Racing School Stage 1 & 2 (used to be called Simracing School) you learn A LOT about the car, and they teach you everything. highly recommend it, saves you a lot of time down the road trying to figure things out yourself. If you call to schedule, ask when Brian is instructing, he's a very good instructor with a lot of credentials.
