Made you look...lol I am thinking about a winter set of tires and wheels for a SS 1LE. Would you go to SS size wheels or 1LE size? I was leaning towards Continentals. I know summer just started but I am afraid I won't get my car until winter.

Continental all season is marginal at best.
If you are getting a winter set, get WINTER tires.

In all fairness it looks like he’s in TX. Should be able to get away with those year round down there. I put them on my wife’s 14 2LT here in East TN and had no issues with them in the mild winters we get. If he was up north, oh hell yeah go full snows.

Correct I don't want winter I want more all season. If I want to take a road trip and hit different road conditions. I am not looking to plow snow..lol I am more concerned about size. Should I get all four the same so I can rotate? Or at the very least go SS staggard? I am probably shopping for a second hand set as new aftermarket look to be very expensive.

I run LT1 fitment on my SS 1LE (20x8.5 with 245/40/20 tires). Wheels are inexpensive, and tires can be rotated as needed.

I drove the car through the Indiana winter this year on the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 tires. I just took them off last week actually.

They performed pretty well. The car doesn't do great in deep snow unless you have a true winter tire (X-Ice, Blizzak, etc).
I like the DWS06 because they grip well even in dry and warm weather. Having an all season is better for me here in Indiana because the weather is very up and down during Spring and Fall. There are many times where we will have temps in the 80°F's but then still have a few nights that drop into the 30°F's the following week (this just happened two weeks ago). I would not have wanted to really be running Michelin X-Ice tires in 90°F weather.

The DWS tires seemed like a good middle ground.

I bought a set of black "take-off" LT1 wheels w/tires on Facebook for $500. 2 of the tires were done for, two where still in very good shape.

$500-$800 seems to be about the going rate for 20"x8.5" LT1 wheels with and without tires.

Blizzaks are terrible unless you are driving on nothing but snow. Gummy as hell on pavement. I would never buy them again for winter driving
