Pretty sure that would be from the dealer prep, not Chevy

Dealers do not buff new cars! dang ,talk to the dealer not us to see if dealer dumb enough to do such. On the good side, easy to correct. It will be ok.

Amazing that dealers still do this. Sorry to the OP for this, and perhaps the dealer will work with him so he can get the paint corrected from a real detailer. For anyone else who might not be experienced with new car purchases, make it a written condition when you order your car that says DO NOT WASH. Don't let them touch it.

I had a tiny little buff mark on the upper side of the trunk which I fixed within 2 minutes. Sorry to hear you have it everywhere :/

How do you fix it? Is it easy or what?

Depends on how bad it is. Easiest way is to use a buffer like a Porter Cable 7424XP. For all you ever wanted to know about buffing head to autogeekonline.net

I have a friend that refers to buffers as "Paint erasers".

The dealer wanted to wash my car for me after I bought my Camaro, but I said no. I told them that I would wash it myself and they looked at me like I was crazy.

Those buffing marks must be really bad if you can see them on white. If you never used a buffer before, I'd probably take it in to a professional detailer and let them fix it.

Learn how to detail your Camaro.
OR, have a good detailer fix the dealer applied swirls.
NEVER LET YOUR DEALER WASH YOUR CAR!

Just my opinion since I see the insides of a dealership on a daily basis, but a wash job really depends on the business. We have one of the best in the area.

Was realllllly easy. If you do your own wash and wax, you can do it too. I have a swirly bird (as I like to call it, it's a buffer round polisher) and used a drop of of correction compound. Instead of wax I just used correction compound then wiped it off plus waxed it after.

Thanks for the comments. It is hard to see on white, but I saw them at night at a tight angle under lights. From the comments, it is an easy fix. Thanks again, this forum is so full of knowledge.
