1SS Build Thread 😈

Well I guess since we are about to do a lot of things with this car and shoot for the moon it’s time to start a build list. Here is my 2017 1ss I picked up March of 2019. Really the only time I drive it is to and from the track. All tuning was done by my good buddy and tuner here in Pensacola,Fl John Weeks. We’ve managed to get the car to run consistent 1.6 60’s and 7.3x’s here at our local 1/8 mile track in the Fl heat. We’ve been rocking this setup for a few months but it’s time to start the Lt4 blower swap this weekend so I figured now is the time to start a thread to follow the car and what all has been done to get us to our goals.

Current build list

-ARH 2” Headers with x pipe
-Borla Atak axleback
-Ported TB/IM
-Rotofab CAI
-Mighty Mouse Solutions CatchCan
-DSX Flex Fuel Kit
-JMS BAP
-ECM/TCM Tuned
-NGauge with Ballenger AFR500
-Weld Racing S77’s
-MY ET StreetR
-BMR Control Arms and Toe Rods
-BMR Cradle Lockout
-BMR Rear Diff Lockout
-Powerstop Rotors
-Powerstop z26 pads
-ACS front splitter
-Sema Grille
-Anvil Auto Rear Notched Spoiler

Stay tuned next week to see how our Lt4 swap goes. I’m hoping to be able to answer a lot of questions as I do it and help those of you wanting to go through with it!

Question, so how did u connect both the ARH headers with the x pipe and the borla catback which also have an x pipe, what did u cut off? I currently have the same setup but I'm getting it installed next week

My apologies. Smh I had originally wrote catback however it is ARH headers, ARH xpipe, then Borla AXLEBACK lol. Sorry for the confusion I fixed it in the post.

Got the car with just sheet metal damages, no frame or engine damage. Was pretty cheap so I couldn't pass it up.

Due to issues during COVID paint was put on a delay but it's finally coming out the way I want it to, without delays. Saw it just a few days ago in the shop and getting ready to send it to get the upholstery done.

Plans in the future : Black Gloss Rims w/ 285's front and 305's back, Whipple, Quad tip exhaust, Flex Fuel.

Edit : Had to put [IMG] and not [URL]

Well we have been pretty busy. Working out of town during the week then busting our butts on the weekends but we’ve almost got it whooped. So far we got the LT4 valley cover, HPFP, injectors, and pulleys on. Mounted the blower with a set of ADM spacers. Mounted the new AFCO HX and got the Edlebrock reservoir installed and plumbed. All the belts reinstalled and the new Rotofab conversion intake on. All we lack is some hoses being made and we will be ready to hit the rollers! Ready to see what this ole girl does under positive pressure. Stay tuned for dyno results and track times!
