I have the GMP CAI, like it a lot, looks great, sounds great, easy to install, comes with a tune, 50 state legal and maintains my warranty...

the factory air box is pretty good at getting cold air. i saw ambient iats when the car was stock. i put 2” stainless NON COATED headers on my car and cut the bottom half off of the stock air box. iats now hover 2-4* above ambient. car runs good, i can’t justify the money to pick up maybe 3-5 hp.

Yea. Its been in since i had about 1,000 miles on the car. Dry filter. The hood seals it. It's expensive but well worth the money IMO. Changed the tone of my exhaust, louder too. Also proven to add horsepower.

Here is a link on here from Rotofab.

Oiled filter is said to catch a little more debris than a dry filter. Oiled filter has to be maintained more. It has to be cleaned and re oiled. IMO there is no discernable difference between the dry and wet filters. A oiled filter needs more maintenance .When you re oil a wet filter you have to be careful to not put too much oil on it as it may ruin your mass air flow sensor. Dry filter you just use some compressed air, blow it off and re install it.
