Hello,



My Camaro now has about 7000 miles and is getting 3 years old.

I already feel, that the tires are slowly wearing out. It's not like they feed totally weared out, but the tires do not feel like new tires.



Therefore I was looking for new tires. I guess either at the end of the year or beginning of next year I have to get new tires.



I found the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 ZP (without S). They are runflat tires (ZP = zero pressure).


This is not the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.



Does anyone have experience with these tires?

they are too new so nobody has them cept c8 owners but i have the ps4s they are awesome!

It's really a hard decision for me between the P4 ZP and P4S.

The P4 ZP is a runflat tyre...concerning safety this is a big advantage. The question is: how do they perform compared to the P4S?

runflats will never be as good as non runflat tires the stock ss goodyear run flats compared to the 1le tires are night and day

They make the 4S in ZP...they are just hard to find the sizes that are needed for our cars. I was going to get them but went with the GY F1 A3's again on my SS, since the Michelins were no where to be found back in January for my car.

I thought only the 4 is made as ZP, not the 4S.

I will take a deeper look into this.

The 4S is also made in ZP, but they may still be hard to find in certain sizes.

I checked the P4S ZP sizes:
245/40R20 - not available
275/35R20 - not available

I spoke to Michelin directly back in January, they said US supply would be real limited for at least a few months, even talked to Tire Rack, they told me the same thing.

Did they say when they will be available in large numbers?

As I live in Europe I guess it will be even more time to wait...

They said here in the US would be late spring/summer for a large supply...but that was befre the world came to a grinding halt.

No problem...my stock GYs were done, couldn't pass state inspection, so I shopped around, wanted to stick with a run flat tire, was going to try the 4S ZP, but stuck with the GYs since the 4S ZP was nowhere to be found, plus I really like the GYs.

The 4S are now available as ZP in the stock Camaro size in North America.

Go to:

And type in the Camaro tires. Then the 4S ZP come up.
