Full 1LE suspension, with BMR adjustable sway bars and links, GM aluminum cradle bushings, Hurst shifter with lighter reverse spring, TWM shifter knob, Tick level 1 transmission. I should have bought a ZL1

Honestly it should still be a huge improvement! Think of it this way most people agree that a regular 6th gen SS is on par with the old ZL1, and the new 1LE is a pretty significant improvement over the regular SS so you won't be disappointed!!!

I bet it's as fast. I've seen some videos of a cammed 5th gen 1LE vs a stock 6th gen and it was neck and neck. You've got more power, but at least 250 more lbs to contend with.

looks like just a set of headers and CAI will net just as much power.

wont get to test drive one. no one has one around here and its winter. I did test drive a 2SS auto this summer and it didnt feel anywhere near my 5th gen. it was in demo mode though 20 miles on it. if that matters tank was on e so it still had factory gas in it.
how long is it taking to get one ordered? I do not want it to arrive at my dealer until April. I do not want salt on it.

I was at Vengeance racing today and they also added that a cam headers package for the gen 6 will be about a 1000 less than ls3 package. I may go that route in 24mos..but This car is so much more fun to drive !

The 1LE wont be any faster than the standard SS in a straight line.
In the turns will be a different story.

If you're at 477hp 465ftlbs to the wheels, the new SS standard or 1LE will feel slower.
