Just leased the SS, now I want the ZL1
New lease on the SS as of Jan 16. Saw the ZL1 come out a month later, now I want to order it and lease it.
How badly am I going to be wrung out by the dealer? Seems they should be happy I'm spending 18K more on a vehicle. |

You spending even 100k more wouldn't mean anything if they aren't making a profit.. So, expect to lose a decent chunk of money on your car.

Try swapalease or other online lease takeover sites. That's going to be your best way to get out with the least money lost. Otherwise you are going to need to buyout the car and try to sell it yourself, which you still take a bath doing. The worst option is for you to put a new lease for the ZL1 on top of your existing one. Bottom line, it's going to hurt trying to get out of it. Your best bet is the first option.

That's all highly variable depending on money down, lease terms and rate, car's actual value to the dealership, time of year it's traded in, condition of the car, etc. There's not really a good way to tell you since no matter what anyone on here will say, your dealer, being the buyer/seller will have ultimate say of what they are willing to do -- regardless of anything KBB says (outside of anything legally binding like lease papers)

Compared to your lease for the 2SS, just curious what do you think the ZL1 lease would be? I know there's so many factors, but for 3yrs/36K miles what do you think it would look like? Always helps to talk it out ;-)

I feel like either car is a great choice so loosing on the SS would stink. Maybe some Forced induction on the SS would be satisfying?

GM rarely has any national lease options on Z06 or ZL1, i suppose dealers can offer them on their own.
