This car is gonna mash the GT350R and cost less. Beautiful to boot. I don't think the wife will let me after I just got an ATS-V.

Got some more pics of the ZL1. No 1LE there, which was disappointing. The Chevy exhibit was a bit weak, minus the ZL1. They had a grey Grandsport I couldn't take a picture of because there was about 4 million people surrounding it at all times.

Here are the ZL1 pics.

Nice thanks! I like your shot of the front fender. It does look wider.

I took these at the Barrett-Jackson WPB Chevy display to give you an idea of the ZL1 grill vs the SS grill.

Looks like there are quite a few heat exchangers in the SS as well.

Unless I overlooked something

The bigger the openings in the grill like the ZL1, the more rocks, leaves and other road debris have a better than average chance of hitting the various coolers/radiators.

I'm not sure I like that.

I believe GM mentioned there are a total of 11 coolers throughout the new 16's.

I actually asked about that in Nevada when they did the media hot laps...They said that they didn't experience any problems of the sort while racing high speeds in Germany, or any other tracks in the US, through the winter testing, or just around roads. Just regular wear.

If you really think about it...the openings on the SS are big enough as it is. Large enough things can get through there and do serious damage, too.

11 heat exchangers on the ZL1. At least one less on the SS since it doesn't have an intercooler circuit. But yes....there are a lot.
