I could write a pamphlet on how terrible CarPlay is in general however it materially functioned before iOS 11.3. It might have disconnected after stopping the engine and starting back up.

However now it disconnects after 2 minutes, it keeps playing audio which may or not sound scratchy. Then it will randomly stop the music and then reconnect. It might just resume playing or reconnect but pause requiring you to mess with the screen while driving. The randomness of this nonsense isn’t exactly the best thing for safety.

There is no update from Chevrolet’s end. Is nobody else suffering from this?

It's buggy as hell for me since going to iOS 11. Sometimes trying to use Siri will make it crash or various apps will not work at times. Also the album art work is wonky and sometimes gets stuck on the gauge screen. I used Android Auto for a period of time and it had a lot less problems plus Waze/Google maps is miles better than Apple Maps.

It kills me to get in a sucky Toyota minivan rental car, and my phone/music/Waze perform flawlessly.

Then I get back to my Camaro and the MyLink-CarPlay disconnects randomly.

Yes it does it on my aftermarket stereo also now in my Ram
