They will only look blue normally if you install hid bulbs in the 6000k and above range. If you want really nice white 4300k-5000k is ideal. If installing halogen bulbs then to get it to not look blue you need bulbs that specify ultra white not cool blue etc. Hids will give you a better white compared to halogen bulbs tho.

I am looking for an HID kit for my eagle eyes now, just beware that the headlamp sockets that come with the eagle have no little notch to secure the bulb. After buying h9 platinum auto for a very nice white look the car looked awesome. This was about 8 months ago, a few days ago a light went out and sure enough what happened seems to be that the socket wiggled loose just enough to arc and melted itself to the bulb pin. The socket was a bitch to replace because h9 sockets are hard to come by apparently, the actual repair was a breeze. Snip the old plugs off, splice the new ones on and done!
On an aside note, the ebay vendor, revotec, is currently working on getting me a replacement set of the original relay and at no charge, past warranty. He's a really good vendor who takes care of you.

Hi, bringing this thread back from the dead lol:
So, I bought a pair of halogen angel eyes from ebay for my non-RS Camaro. I plan to splice the halos to my parking lights but realized that should only light up the halos when it's dark out and the parking lamps illuminate, but what about during the day? In DRL mode, Is it just the weaker DRL Projector beam output (like w/ stock) without halo? If you could walk me through based on my setup as to what happens when you are on auto mode or switch from DRL to night lights. Again, this is with non-rs set-up. Any suggestions to re-wire for halos for full on? Can't use the harness on non-rs |
