WHY the hell does that mercedes weigh so much?!?!?!?!? people call the camaro/challenger porkers...... WTF is that??!???!?! like....WOW.......

Dude,....seriously. I couldn't tell you, but the numbers come straight from AMG's site specs of the car. It's ridiculously heavy to look so small. No wonder it cant achieve higher performance times with all of that power. More horsepower than a ZR1, more torque,....and more weight,.....yet- it is hell slower.

V-12 engines aren't exactly light especially with DOHC!

+1. Kinda reminds me of all the Porsches out there. Year after year, model after model, they all look very similar. The Targa, Carrera, and Turbo look so much alike to any "normal" person. I wish car makers would get away form doing that. The corevttes are the same way, as well as the mustangs.

ZR1, all day, every day. All that performance for roughly half the price? Who cares what it looks like, it outperforms it and costs less!! Plus, it's a 'vette, and to me, that is everything.

Personally, I'd settle for the Z06, lol, and live happily ever after!

200K....yikes! The AMG is KILLER but imagine a ZR1 and 70K to do with as you want

I'm sure that for a lot less than ~$100k price difference between the ZR1 and AMG you can get a custom designed interior made for your exact tastes.

These weight numbers are wrong. The Black series is lightened from the regular SL65 AMG. Yeah I know it is still heavy but it really weighs around 4114lbs.
