Take a shot at what? A two year old article talking about the 7:38 lap time, when apparently Nissan went back and got a 7:29? An article claiming that you can't get a gt-r for under 100k? Give me some of what he's smoking.
Or how about this guy has no real facts to back up that the z06 is a better bargain; Just pure speculation. Maybe the carbon changes things now (still yet to be official), but back in 2008, NO WAY the z06 is a better bargain.
Here, I'll give you facts rather than an opinion.
Fact: The gt-r gets through the quarter mile just as fast as a z06.
Fact: The gt-r is better at everything else
If you don't believe Nurburgring times, how about Steve Millen on Buttonwillow: 1:56 compared to 2:02.
Or how about Slalom: 73.4 mph vs. 70.6 mph
Or how about braking from 60: 108 vs 111 feet
Or how about lateral accleration: 1.01g's vs .99 g's

Don't like Road and Track?
How about Motor Trend?
MT figure eight: 24.1 vs. 24.8
Braking: 105 vs. 108 feet
Same lateral acceleration in their case
No slalom, but that wasn't even close

This is all forgetting that back in 2008, when this guy wrote his rant, the msrp of a gt-r was just under 70, even cheaper than the z06. Honestly, how could you even read that article with a straight face?

GTR's also today (pre-owned) you can get one around the 50's range; also you can check if its ever been launched so not to worry aout the rompage factor.
