Are the gauges held in with the rear mounted brackets or are they a push fit with double sided tape like the aero force gauge pods ?

It is typical for any item in the path of an air bag to be blown into/along the path of the bag. Where will those gauges go/end up in a deployment event? Pure, reckless speculation and great potential liability issue.

Why would anyone give up airbag protection for 2 gauges? Why would they also risk a "claymore" to the head/face/shoulder/thorax? Yikes. .

I have this, and had similar concerns, but the whole thing has a retention cable. Im not 100% convinced the gauges wont pop out and go flying, but the plastic trim piece is constrained just like the oem part.

If you wouldn't mind restocking this that'd be great.

As usual, any modification of OEM design, especially airbag, potentially releases certain parties of obligation and liability (auto maker, airbag designer and manufacturer, insurance companies, etc) and transfers it to item seller, manufacturer, designer, installer, and purchaser. SMH
