Front Rock Guards Needed
Looks like ZL1addons is a bust:
https://zl1addons.com/collections/ca...28-rock-guards Has anyone taken a chance on these: https://www.moderngenauto.com/Gen-5-...s_p_20701.html Is there anyone who is selling a pair that maybe they bought and didn't install? I've only had the car 1 day, but this is a mandatory purchase for sure!

Here you go brotha...bought an extra set from them about 2 months ago, and they still show in stock (they are zl1addons brand). Just know that the newer versions of the rock guards aren't the long version from a couple years ago; I've spent a number of months trying to find another set of deluxe long ones, with no luck.
https://www.classicindustries.com/product/gf301322.html I've bought a few things from this company with zero problems. |

My set-up is the rears from the RPI generic '10-'15 set. Works OK for now but they're kinda thin. First time I've seen those Classic Industries units. They look good. You're correct about these being a necessity. I recommend guards, tow-hook and Modern Spare brand tire assembly if the Z is seeing any street duty.

Does anyone have pictures of the ZL1 Addon's long vs short rock guards? Trying to determine what I was sent back in July.

I do, kind of... I say kind of because I don't have close ups of the long ones that were on my '15. They go up to the Z/28 logo basically, and stick out about 1.5-2" more than the short version. MUCH better, to the extent that the ones out there right now are a joke...they still help for sure, but nothing compared to the long ones. The person who bought my '15 is in the forums too, sbaum129...perhaps he'd be willing to take a close up.

Let me just say, the people on this forum--especially the Z/28 group are awesome. My rock guard problem was solved today in pay it forward fashion. I am humbled.
