It's just getting the pressure washer out, the hoses situated, extension cord (I used an electric pressure washer), etc...I spend half the time prepping and on cleaning up afterwards lol. It usually takes me 1.5 - 2 hours to properly wash and dry my car when I use the pressure washer and foam cannon, that includes getting everything ready, put away, and drying. For drying I use large microfiber drying towels and a leaf blower.

I get worn out washing my car, especially since it's so damn hot down here, so other people can probably get this done much quicker than me.

I feel ya. I dont use a foam cannon but it takes me about 1.5 to 2 hours also. I use a gas pressure washer but still have to get the hose ready etc etc. Next time I buy one with the hose on the reel lol. By time I am done, Im wore out and back is killing me. And you are very correct, feels like the surface of the sun a lot of days around here. The other day the feels like was 116.

I always rinse after each panel... but I am ocd.

About the same except since I dont have the cannon. I wash with two buckets. Rise in one, squeeze out the mitt and then back in the soap bucket.

I changed the oil. Then noticed what I believe to be a clutch inspection hole with a missing plug/cap. Trying to find the part number for it.

Are you sure the hole cover is missing?
I don't think others will have it any other way.

You're correct, now I realize no cover missing. Thanks for the photo.

Whatcha painting?

I have been tempted to get a quart of Cyber Gray Metallic for my factory unpainted GFX side skirts and rear diffuser. I'm unsure if a pint would be enough for me.

A pint should be plenty. Once its reduced you have a quart of material. More than enough for a few good coats. Use a quality clear coat. You get what you pay for. I like PPG's Concept 2020 clear. It's got great luster and its durable.

I back the camaro out of the garage. Cause I had to have the room to do something, shut the car off. I got the job done and forgot what I did. But not far enough for the sensors to stop the overhead door. And I hit the down button and ouch the door hit the back of the bumper and put a scrap thru the bumper about 4 inches long and a 1/8 wide. But didn't cut thru the bumper. But it has to be filled and painted then clear coat. $500.
