2013 Malibus Spotted In Person!

I was on my way to our hotel room in Kansas City and spotted these 2 Malibus. Both had the windows stickers and other info flipped around so you couldnt read.

enjoy the pics. I kinda like em, not much into 4 door cars but the resemblence of the camaro is dominant in the rear of the car.

They looked real nice. There was a current model below the white one and the new models dwarf the old. FenwickHockey65, Are these one of the first new models seen? I seen them on the trailer and instantly pulled out my iPhone to take the shots. Thanks for posting on GMI.

They look better in pictures than the teasers & renderings let on, and that older stuff didn't look bad. I bet it will be the best selling midsize shortly after its released.

I actually haven't seen any other pre-production builds photographed.

What's odd about these is that they have two different sets of wheels, one from the press release for the Malibu Eco, the other set is straight off a LaCrosse/Regal eAssist.

Also never seen before (besides patent drawings) are the body side moldings.

I will say this: if I got a Malibu Eco, the first thing I'd do is get a Euro-spec "Chevrolet" badge and slap that on the left side of the trunk lid. Huge empty space.
