I just ordered mine, just 1
10” forward fire box. On my last car I used a rear fire. The reason I was asking is they are saying the forward fire sub sounds better since it doesn’t use all of the trunk space. I’ll have to wait till everything gets here and I install it to see the difference.

Is this the box you bought?

The link didn’t work when I tried to check it. I got one from Zenclouser again. It’s a sealed box. And I bought the Sub Hump harness with the ANC bypass and a LCI-2 to go from the stock Bose amp to my 600w Alpine bass amp with a Alpine type R 4 ohm duel voice coil sub.

I've had a rear fire in my last Camaro and it was just sounded deep and messy and on the outside everything that was made out of aluminum or metal just rattled like crazy and it kind of just to me it sounded real trashy.. I got front fire sealed and it sounds immaculate solid base hits.. I had my doubts since I had a 8-in sub with a 2,000 watt amp on it and it sounded great inside but outside it's not a real sloppy..I'm glad I went with the front fire I kind of felt like I should have just got a single 12 with two cubic foot and just get a solar barak square

That’s the kind of feedback I was looking for. Someone that had heard both. Thanks.

Yeah that link just wouldn’t work. I found the box. Thanks for the help.

Hmmm...Two 8’s must be a nice tight and clean sound. I would also believe 2004YZFR1‘s single 10” will also perform well. I’ll keep an eye on this thread.

Yeah I have my two scar 12s but my next step up is going to be SoundCube or sundown audio I'm still stuck with a 8-in scar and it's a little skar box ported. With an extra battery it stays solid hits battery never goes below 13.5 volts..first system I've ever owned with a spare battery and it's it's a world changer

I ran a single 10' front fire in a custom box for about 3 yrs. It sounded better to me. I mainly did it to keep the trunk from rattling as much.

Thanks, I'll post some pictures of the install after I get everything. I might just mount everything to the back of the sub box instead of going under the floor support. I think that I could make it still look clean like that. I'm still debating which way to install it.
