wtb a shifter detent tr6060 or t56
i want to get one to try and put a lighter spring in it for the hurst shifter. something better then the anti venom mod.

It might be worth giving Tick a call - if anyone knew anything about it, they might.
You could take it apart, cut a coil or two off, stretch it out to about the same length and that would soften it up also.

Oh man. Interesting. Wonder if the top where the spring seats can be drilled out and then threaded so we can drop the modded spring in there and thread on a cap or weld it?

the stick flops around and makes it harder to find gears. Im down to 1 thin dorman copper washer and you can hear it tapping the ball bearing a idle. the shifter needs a little resistance on it. with the any washers its not touching the shifter so it will just flop around . With the 1 washer 1-4 feel ok but 5th feels like your putting it in reverse and its harder to find because the resistance is so much more. if there were no washers and the detent had a weaker spring all gears would feel the same.
