Source for APR GTC-300 wing
What's the preferred source for an an APR wing?
I see a lot of online vendors offer it a few hundred cheaper than APR directly, but I know APR is now providing a new base plate for our cars and I am unsure if other distributors will have this part on previously stocked items. Thoughts?

When I ran my C5Z06 in NASA TT, I used their wing, they gave NASA TT drivers discounts if you were competing. Just had to show proof of some results. SpeedSf Challenge TT may work for you Sean. I think it was like 30% discount.

James at Vivid Racing in AZ can get you great pricing and you should be getting the most updated parts because it will likely be drop shipped from APR.

Were you able to source the APR wing with the updated base? I noticed some folks have issue with the rear trunk deforming. Wondering if your having the same issue. Also Does the install instruction require drilling new holes? Any pics of your wing installed? |

I sourced it directly from APR using their racer discount. It came with the new support system and so far so good. But yes, you drill into the trunk to add holes. One you go APR, there will be NO going back. The stock ZLE bases may cover the new holes, but I'm not sure.

I am considering adding the GTC-300 wing and GTC splitter to my ZLE, but have not been able to find any threads about whether this setup is effective in lowering lap time. I understand that the impact could be different for the type of track involved - short and windy versus long with high speed turns. Can anyone share their experience with this set up and whether it was worth the investment and how much time it shaved off lap times? Thanks.

^^Above they lose 2second at COTA https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...4&postcount=31 ^^ 3 seconds faster You are going to be able to make changes to the angle of attack to give you a bit better setup for the different tracks you are going to be using it at aswell! |
