2022 Camaro

I am looking to purchase a new Camaro and was all set to go to the dealer Saturday and submit my order. They called today and said 2021 orders are closed and 2022 orders open up April 1st. I read some stuff that said they won’t start building the 2022 until June? Anyone have any other details on the 2022’s?

The biggest issue is the plant is shut down right now and if your dealer doesn't have any allocation its very likely they won't get any. The last order cycle for 2021 is April 8 which is also when 2022 orders open. The production for 2022 will start In june.

Does anyone know if there are any changes to the 2022 at all? Wheels? Options? etc. I also am getting ready to order from the same dealership I purchased my last Camaro from. From talking to my salesman today, I believe I can still order a 2021. I'd hate to miss some new option by not waiting for a 2022, but I also think I will have a better chance at rebate money on a 2021.

I believe the only known change thus far is the addition of the Rapid Blue Color, with the assumption it's replacing Crush.
I imagine we'll know more April 8th.

I've been looking for awhile now for a used or new LT1 or 1SS with a manual (no luck). Finally had a local dealer allow me to submit a build for a 2021 LT1. Rough estimate was 16 weeks after they get an allocation.

Only picked a few options so don't know if it will go through or the dealer is just using dealer tactics and will try to get one similar. I'm ignorant when it comes to car dealerships so don't know if I'm getting the run around but I feel better hearing others can still order 2021s.

The new blue is nice but like the summit white better, helps the sleeper look I'm going for.

Other than color changes ( Rapid blue and Vivid orange metallic) it doesn’t appear there are any other changes I can see in the quick order menu

Just crush, and now there is an option for Copper-free performance brakes

For the brakes, will it be an option, or a switch? I had imagined they would just switch completely to no-copper brakes.
