Why does Callaway still make kits?

I was just quoted 20 grand to outfit my LT1 with their SC630 kit which seems outrageously high considering that the Maggie 2650 makes the same power on its canned tune for 10 grand less. Is the little extra stuff like the badges and floormat really worth $10,000? Or is Callaway taking advantage of people that REALLY don’t want to void their warranty?

I don’t know, maybe someone with a Callaway can chime in.

I think the “exclusivity” coupled with the warranty is attractive to a lot of people. Not my cup of tea, but I can understand why that would be interesting to some.

My 2016 Callaway Corvette was the worst vehicle I ever owned. But they did foot the bill for a brand new motor…..

Definitely not worth it, you can do an LT4 to LT1 blower conversion yourself for just over $5K if you can turn a wrench, $6K tuned. Leaving you with $14K saved in the unlikely event that you kill your LT1.

Juiced Motorsports is offering LT4 supercharger kit (fully rebuilt 1.74) installed and tuned for 6500.00 out the door. I would roll the dice on that before wasting 20k on badges and a name that needed to be retired a long time ago.
