2019+ Service Manual Availabilty

Anyone know why GM stopped letting helm inc produce service manuals for 2019+ Camaro really wanted a set for my 2021, any other option available besides 3 day subscriptions to acdelco TDS
TIA

I really like the ACDelco TDS format for finding information. I "print to pdf" anything I want to save for later. So I make the most of the 3-day subscription when I get it.

Certainly, it's easier to find information with the website.

I've been holding out for the Helm manual since I bought my car in Q1 2019. Have emailed them a few times and they just tell me it'll show on the site when it is available. No dice.

I also ended up doing the 3 day ACDelco TDS subscription and saving pages to PDF. I organized everything into folders and created a simple tree structure Index so that I can find what I need. The biggest drawback to this method is that none of the hyperlinks in the PDFs point to anything, so I then need to go back to my Index and find it. Not a big deal though.

i like AcDelco TDS but they need to make a owner friendly subscription with just the vehicle the owner owns, with fair pricing

I know this site says to present.... my assumption is if i buy a service 3 day subscription, i could access the 2023 service manual..... can't really find an answer if they have the 2023 manual available. Anyone have access to verify for me?

Acdelcotds.com it’s made for private shops so those 3 day subscriptions give you access to every gm service manual

There wasn’t much change between a 22 & 23 you could just use the 22, I currently don’t have a subscription but it should be up there by now the 23 has been In Production for a while now

I ended up buying a 3 day trial. Similar to what RamAir02 did, I am working on downloading everything from the service manual within my 3 day period. I plan on hosting it on a google drive for access. I am downloading everything for the 2023 Camaro.

Browsing the Helm site, it becomes apparent that there are no shop manuals published beginning with 2019.

The AC Delco subscription plan is the only option for official service information, and the pricing is aimed at professionals.

I have the Helm books for my 2010 SS. Although I only do basic maintenance and simple repairs myself (no electronic troubleshooting), the books have proved to be useful to the point that they easily paid for themselves.

If and when my 2023 is delivered, I will miss having the books for this car. In addition to their utility, they are fun reading, just finding out how the car works: for example, understanding the charging system and why the charging voltage fluctuates, or the parameters that actuate AFM, or shift points as a function of transmission temperature. Or, new to me, how active suspension and exhaust work.

For those who have captured pdfs during your 3 day subscriptions, how many pages can you save in a day?

No limit. Save as much as you want. Just use "Print to PDF" or "Save to PDF" from the Print or CTRL+P window.

I have been holding out for an actual 19+ manual as well, but it looks like I'll eventually have to go the "print to PDF" route...

Sad that we can't even get a printed service manual of some sort.

I’m probably going to end up having to do this. How much was the 3 day and how long did it take to download it all and organize? Have to find the time. Cheers!
