Weight reduction
What are some parts that you have taken off your car for weight savings?
I know the back seats weigh around 30 pounds and it’s fairly easy to remove! |

Seats, wheels, rotors are probably the easiest I would think. Then you can go and start stripping the rest of the inside and airbags. Replace glass with window netting, get lighter doors. Ect
I got lighter wheels for this next season 18", I'll see how much of a difference it makes. |

Antigravity battery would save about 20lbs, and bucket seats save up to 40lbs depending on mounts.

I have saved a couple pounds not sure exactly have have the weight on some of my threads. I have the following that has saved me some weight Racetech seats, SPL suspension parts, BMR motor mounts, Apex wheels .

I picked up some carbon fenders that are 3-4lbs each. But I was surprised when I weighed the stock fenders to find those were only 10lbs each.

i did keto lost 60lbs in 6 months but now im on carnivore i love it ! got a traeger and smoking up different meats every weekend keeps me busy in the off season of racing

Wow dude! That’s a lot of weight reduction! Keto might be one of the only diets that work for me, and somehow always keep me full. I love it!

When my factory tires wore out I got non run flats and lost 4-5 lbs per tire. Tire rack has forge one 19-9 wheels that fit. They are 20 lbs , 10 lbs lighter than factory wheels. They cost $634 each. Think it will drive much better? Street driven only.

Are you drag racing or doing autocross/roadcourse ?

Im doing autox. I have lighter wheels and non run flat tires, but I do have wider tires than stock so I think it evened itself out weightwise unfortunately.
