Mine got bayed just after new years. Then delivered to dealer 3 weeks later. But I don’t think there’s rhyme or reason to any of the time frames. Just giving you an example of what happened with mine.

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I am 27 years old and have always wanted a Camaro so I finally put an order in for one on 1/3/2023. The order still hasn't even been accepted from GM at the dealership I went to so I was just looking for some insight from other people. I know that I am being kind of impatient, but I have been waiting a long time for a Camaro I really am just not sure how long it might take. I wasn't sure if people have had any updates on their orders or what might be happening on the GM side of things! Thank you very much in advance!

There’s a lot that affects the answer to this question. The biggest factor is how far on your dealer’s waitlist you are and how many/when they will get allocated a car to your spec’s build. I put in orders at 4 dealerships beginning in June of ‘22 and didn’t get an allocation until 3 days before Christmas. Your order might get accepted tomorrow. It might get accepted in 8 months. No way to really know unfortunately.

The 2SS and 2SS 1LE trim cars are taking a very long time to get. I think 9-12 months is roughly the average right now for a 2SS with the 1LE taking a bit longer.
I ordered a 2SS non-1LE 4 1/2 months ago and even though I'm #1 in the queue for a 2SS at my dealership, I still don't have an allocation.

Salesman just called me a few minutes ago and said my car has shipped and should be here tomorrow or Wednesday!

Did all 4 dealerships get allocations for you in the same week? I was told back in mid-november of 22 that there was a nationwide production limit on 1SS and 2SS and not necessarily a constraint. Just this week I'm being told that the initial number limit on the these has disappeared and production should pick up very soon. Great thing is build and delivery is only taking two or two and a half months these days.

No. I had one of the four get an allocation for a ZL1. I then told them to place it and called the other three and cancelled. They were all at 1100 status.

Looks like I'll be leaving the Order Waiting Room on Saturday! It's been a long wait but today my dealer did a FaceTime to let me know my car arrived at the dealership. Needless to say, Saturday will not come soon enough.

haha, that's awesome. I wondered if that car's owner would see it on here and respond after I posted the pic! My salesman was Russell. He's been great.

I'm doing a 50*F dance right now so I can go get mine. It's still in the 30's here and today we even had freezing mist and it's snowed every night for a while now. I'm hoping the weather will cooperate on the 18th, and I'll go down and get it.
