Sounds like it's going to be a while before they're going to have V8 Camaro-sized tires.

They stopped making 19” 305s. And sle sizes . Not sure on other sizes. Thought re71s were totally discontinued with no replacement

RE71RS was announced for US market this week. It is the RE71R replacement.

Tire Rack shows availability next week for a few of the sizes I listed above and June 1 for the rest.

275/35-18 should work for turbo Camaros, but V8 Camaro sizes don't look to have been announced yet.

Cool, haven’t been following. Hopefully we get 305/30/19s at least. That being said, do you know the differences of the new “rs” version?

Ok read up on it. Mfg says 1-2 % faster lap times on road course, one was .6 faster then old tire. Better grip and steering response with 5% better wear.
If we get them in SS sizes and preferably 305/30/19s at least

Tire rack has a bunch for pre order, some larger 315/30 335/30/18’s are rumored to be out in summertime

If the new tires are quick enough that I want to use them, I am hopeful that they will be easier to mount than the old tires.

My buddy of 18 years that mounts my race tires was ready to not be buddies any more after we put on my last set 305/30-19 RE71s on 10" wheels last spring...and he supplied the beer instead of me when we swapped them for Falkens later in the summer.

Funny, these tires were listed on TireRack earlier this week and appear to have been taken off the site when I checked today.

I expect them, too...but not sure I expect to be able to get them this season.

Honestly, I kind of hope they are either aren't available in Camaro sizes before September or prove to be duds long before then. I don't want to feel compelled to buy and test a set or stress about not having done so.

Wow, looks like that's what happened.
