My dealer did not mount my from plate bracket at my request. Just ordered one of these from Amazon. Never had a from plate on my Vette, but that car was not red.

I just did the STO-N-SHO front plate bracket. When at the drag strip it’s easy to just pull off by pulling the pin out.

Read my post (post #13, on the first page) in this thread I indicated how the plate holder attaches and I posted a couple of pics. that might help.

It's not entirely clip on. There are two holes that have to be drilled into the black strip just below the body coloured part of the bumper which I don't believe are optional. In fact, I was at Gateway Chevrolet yesterday and noticed that some of the Camaros, including a white SS 1LE, had incorrectly installed license brackets. They mounted the bracket too high and actually drilled into the body coloured part of the bumper! Some people may not care, but I'd be asking for a new bumper! Be on the lookout for that. All of the cars on Gateway's lot had the brackets installed already, so even if you're ok with the factory plate bracket, make sure your dealer installs it correctly!

I have pictures. I'll try to find somewhere to host them and post them here.

2018 Camaro 1SS 1LE TPW November 6!

I just drilled the 2 holes in the top and left them, in 10 months no one has ever noticed them.... Theres enough stone chips on the grill at this point its a minor thing... Sto n Sho is a really great product.

You drilled yours in the correct location. Like you've noticed, two black holes on a black background aren't going to be that noticeable. But like I mentioned, Gateway incorrectly drilled into the body coloured part of the bumper on some of their Camaros. On some colours, like white, that's going to stand out a lot more.

Thats just messed up... It has a very simple and EXTREMELY simple installation. Sounds like gateway should fire someone, and fix all those cars.. If they drilled a hole in the door they might get it closer...

As a side note, i have about 20-25 camaro owners in southern ontario that attend my youtube channel meets and we are planning on doing some dealership takeovers for youtube by which we have 10+ cameras show up at a dealership to which i think gateway was one of. They are kind of mid location for a lot fo the members. We are starting a car culture on ontario to be rivalled by everyone!
