Why "Request no detailing"?
Wouldn't it be easier to see damage, scratches, scrapes or imperfections if the vehicle is clean?

Great list. I plan to use it when my SS is delivered.

Great question, have then RINSE the car, nothing more. That will get it clean enuf to inspect.

But if after investigating the dealership, there are many that find that they can do a decent detail. I'm sure Becky does a good one. You just have to ask the right questions , and make sure they use clean materials. Some of the dealers that specialize in Camaros and corvettes really understand that you can't deliver them after A half assed detail that ended up scratching the car.

But a rinse is always safe.

Not sure if the test drive will fly.
If you ding it up are you gonna still take it? The dealer wont take it.

Make sure the dealer can also accommodate your 3hr inspection.

Good question. My first reaction would be to walk away. If I can't even take it around the block, what am I supposed to do if I sign and then find something seriously wrong? Have it towed?

Bring a buddy or someone that knows body work , that will give you a helpful edge when checking everything out.

I might ask someone I Know that worked in a collision shop for many years to help go over the paint and panels.

A majority of the time they don't have a gas in it when you get there, they have to go out and gas you can go on that ride and evaluate that way. Call them the day before and tell them not to gas it prior.
