Yah I now ZL1 owners hear making their car look like a ZLE will chirp that there’s no difference but each to their own opinions. Not saying a ZLE better just was more of what I was looking for when I test drove. And yes my car gets tracked.
Chippy, are you in the right thread? This thread has nothing to do with ZL1 vs. ZLE. It is about rear damper tuning in ZLE A10 vs. ZLE M6.

Now buyers will be able to make a more informed decision when deciding between a ZL1 or ZLE.

There is nothing to argue about either...its just facts from GM.

I also want to thank the OP for revealing the differences between the ZLE auto and 6 speed manual rear DSS....also something I have never seen discussed here.
Exactly the reason I put it out there. I drive this thing when the weather permits and I know that it can be a rough ride on some of these local streets in the northeast. If the rear A10 shocks are more compliant than the manual shocks then this could benefit someone who wants to soften up the rear end. If they’re a more aggressive shock then Vice versa.

Glad I wasn't the only one that noticed.

If nothing else you brought up an interesting topic that I don't think has been discussed here. Kudos for that.

Your off topic the thread is about are rear DSSV, never mentioned anything about a Zl1. Also on the side note your other comment regarding zl1 looking like a ZLE what wrong with that anyway. If you went to bash someome make your own thread.

Sorry to OP I went off topic, but I love the topic learn something new everyday.

Honestly, how much of a difference is there between the M6 and A10 rear DSSV shocks. Is it something THAT noticeable?

You have people in the non 1LE ZL1 that say they can't tell the difference between sport and track suspension settings. Even ones that say they can't tell the difference between tour and sport.

If someone is looking for a more "softer" riding street car then they shouldn't get a ZL1 1LE. But, to each their own.

I wonder if it would help the M6 launch better? I’ve never seen this discussed here either. Interesting.
