I ordered a 23 ZL1LE in rapid a couple weeks ago, dealer had one allocation left. We'll see what happens but with the delays i'm content to have it converted to a 24, and see what two new colors are becoming availible.

If your dealer had an allocation then it won't be converted to a 2024 model. Once a dealer has an allocation, the order will be built for the model year it was ordered as.

No orders are converted over to the next model year by GM.

Good to know, beggars can't be choosers and if rapid is going away i am happy with getting one. 24 ZL1LE's could be elusive.

Key 2023 dates:

Build-Out: 8/3/23
Final Dealer Order Submission Week: 6/15/23
Final 2023 Dealer Consensus: June Cycle 1
Curious as to if Camaro was included as part of an automated process and if maybe GM will later retract this? I picked up my 2023 yesterday and was chatting with my dealer about this as he still hasn't heard anything about 2024. He said the same thing did happen with the Cruise? or Malibu? I can't remember.. but GM gave word XXXX was last year, but then they kept making them 4 years past that.

Word from the engineers at the Chevrolet Performance booth at Barret Jackson was that 2024 is the last year. Not an official statement by any means, but another data point to consider. Info came from the following thread:

No. Your dealer is just ignorant.

Everything I've heard also points to 2024 being the final year. Keep in mind, they can produce 2024 models all the way into December of 2024 so I'm guessing we have 18 more months of Camaro production, MAX.

At what time will Chevy announce about any new colors?
That's the only thing that would make me wait to a order a '24 (if the new color rang my bell) LOL.
Thanks for the info.

Knowing GM, it will be at the last possible second & we won't be able to see what it looks like until it hits a dealers lot & someone snaps a picture.

My dealer today told me the Startup list now has a late August date for 2024 (I forget the date), so there will be 2024 models. Last week it said TBD still. That is my first confirmation of a 2024 Camaro. I put $500 down on whatever 2024 special edition they might have, like the rumored "Heritage Edition", because my dealer will be able to get it if they make one.

I would not be surprised if there is a 2025, but I'm not starting that rumor.

My dealer connection told me yesterday that nothing is in stone yet. GM may only offer just 1 trim and 1 color or nothing at all. Still up in the air. I kind of hope it's not true, I've waited patiently for the 2023 and it being the last year of the aspirated Camaro. Might have to order a 2024 now if it turns out to be true!

Was watching Nascar Cup series earlier today and Kyle Busch driving for Richard Childress Racing and a couple others drive Camaros, so Chevy walks away from that exposure they get from that racing circuit?
They won't have a presence that's a big move IMO.

Nice to see RCR with Kyle Busch back in victory lane.

I am reading that Chevy will continue in NASCAR but using whatever their next EV sports sedan will be, likely under their upcoming Camaro sub-brand.

The question is... will the 1LE option be available or constrained?
