Spline Count on Outer CV
Does anyone know what the spline count is on the outers going into the rear hub? Any difference between the SS and ZL1 hubs?

Cracka, are you running a 5th gen? If so, go with the Z28 hubs. They're the same spline count as the SS and SS1LE. Not sure about the ZL1 hubs.......I seem to recall that they're different.

Thanks Geoff, I do run fifth gens and both have the ZL1/Z28 hubs with long studs. What I am really after is to try to figure out if Gen6 ZL1 outer CVs are the same as GenV ZL1 outers. They look very similar, but before I drop $100+ on ebay to see if I can make it work, I was hoping I could get a little more confidence by confirming Gen6 ZL1 axles are 32 splines going into the hub. The Gen5 ZL1 axles are 32 splines into the hub and 41 splines into the CV for the outers. I know a lot of people look at some of the mods I try as being cheap, but these parts are disappearing fast so those of us who will hang on to these cars will need to get creative. Unfortunately, the aftermarket is so full of cheap Chinese axles that there is nothing to restore the factory OEM axles. If you don't run it hard, you buy crap axles and if you do, your kids have to go to community college so you can afford a driveline that will hold up.

Gen6 hubs take a 33 spline axle same as Gen5s. In fact, MOOG hub pn 512663 is sold to fit all Camaros between 2010 and 2019. I confirmed this with Moog tech support.
The Gen6 axle going into the outer CV is approximately 32mm with 30 spines. It is slightly smaller <1mm than the Gen5 RH axle.
