2019 gen6 AT convertible need to swap diff to one that can get cooler

At time trials my 2019 ss2 loose diff oil through the vent hole.
I want to swap to one where I can add a cooler.

Any idea what I could do?
Any options?

Would the ZL1 vert diff fit?

Thanks

Yours should already have a cooler and it shouldn't be overheating unless there is an issue. I wonder if it's leaking internally, and therefore, leaking transmission fluid also?

I've never heard of anyone having overheating issues on the SS differential, and I can't confirm whatever the ZL1 differential has in it for a cooler will work, but I doubt it would since it's such a difference internally.

The SS convertibles don’t get a cooled differential. I believe that the ZL1 convertibles get the same cooled differential as the SS coupes because the eLSD doesn’t fit under the convertible top mechanism. It seems likely that you could swap a cooled differential from a coupe into your car and then add the coolant lines and fluid. I don’t know if the SS convertibles get the same transmission radiator as the coupes.

Good luck, you might think about just buying a complete IRS from salvage yard.
