FWD/RWD LTG difference

I'm building a forged rod/piston engine for my Camaro and I have a front wheel drive LTG engine as the starting point. The front cover and oilpan look different. Does anyone know if the oilpump/balance shaft parts are the same?

I suspect nobody is trying this, but the bell housing and starter have different patterns and bolt sizes on the front wheel drive block. The head looks the same, but I haven't compared everything yet!
