Looks like they've updated the PF64 Oil Filter once again, new part number (25206377), sticker on the top of the box even says "New Item"...

Looks like they rolled the LT2 oil filter out for all LT motors now. That was the LT2 filter part number.

Well that is interesting, what was the PF number of the LT2 filter?

I just bought one the other day at the dealership. I noted the new part number which was different from the owners manual. The parts guy said it was the updated version, but as far as what the update is, I have no idea.

It’s unbelievable how many times the part number has changed for the same filter

I know when I worked with Deutz parts, every time they changed vendors they would change the part number...for the same part. One part may have 6-7 supersessions which became very frustrating in my parts department.

I'll take "How to execute Traceability within Regulated Manufacturing without Batch Numbers" for $2000, Alex.

The old part will still be on the shelves for a while. I bought a few of the original, sturdier filters (12640445) back in the day and used them until all the stock was depleted.
