I replaced the chrome ZL1 grille emblem with black.
I wasn't sure how it would look on a black background but I think it looks good.

Are you going to black out the flow tie?

No, it's not Emblem Pros.
I took an OEM grille emblem and painted it black. I like the thickness of the OEM emblems vs the thinner Emblem Pros emblems.


I will be doing something with the flow tie. I just haven't figured it out yet.

Curious if you ever did anything with the flowtie? It sucks it's plastic-welded onto the upper grill.

I did paint my grill emblem, but Nightfall Gray Metallic to stand out a bit more than rest of the black on the car.

That looks really sharp.
One day when I work up the courage to take the front end off, I’ll try painting the flow tie. Until then I’m stuck with chrome.

Taping off the bowtie and hitting it with PlastiDip works like a charm.

Same here to a tee. Can't bring myself to plasti-dip, even with glossifier it. Just my opinion, but I refuse to have a semi-matte primer gray bowtie (need a color to offset the black car) with 100% everything else on the Z being glossy, I hate chrome but to me it's better than a flat color.
