lowering springs or coil overs

hi everyone i recently purchased a pair of TSW nurumburing rims for my 2011 camaro SS i have 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the rear. i am looking to lower the car but not sure if the added rims width will rub or not sit on the fender correctly. is there anyone with the knowledge who could help me out. im only looking to lower about an inch

Get coil overs, adjustable.

If coil overs are in your budget they are the ideal way to lower your car. That being said there is nothing wrong with lowering springs. You will not have any rubbing issues with either.

what size drop i dnt want to slam it in any way i just want a more aggressive stance while eliminating some of the wheel gap

Wouldn't go more that 1 1/4" or your ride quality will suffer too much.

Like Chase said, it really all depends on your budget. A quality set of coilovers are the "ultimate" set-up....if you can afford about 10x the cost of springs!!!! If you just want an aggresive stance, a slightly firmer ride, but don't necessarily need the dampening adjustability, then a good set of drop springs will definitely meet your goals. If you're not looking for the "slammed" look, then I would recommend our 1.0" springs (SP019), or our new 1.25" springs (SP077) which we will be releasing within the next week.

Whether or not it will rub, will depend completely on your wheel offsets. If you want to post them, I can let you know whether or not you have anything to worry about.

Like the others have said, coilovers are the best way to go if it fits the budget, but springs may be a good option as well. Depends on what you are really wanting out of the car.

I just lowered my Camaro with Eibach Springs. Now the car bounces and dips on the road. What should I do stop this from happening?

Make sure you timed the bushings, that helps a bit

Like I said in our PMs; I'd be weary of lowering the rear too far with that offset. The front will be fine though.

That's how Eibach springs are on the camaro without better dampers. Timing the bushings will help, but many with Eibach springs complain of the bounce. I'd either look into some Koni struts or different springs.
