Friend ripped weather stripping!

What up y’all, I am really only posting this cause I enjoy all of your feedback, but my buddy ripped the weather stripping on passenger side door frame. Not too bad but what do y’all think i should do. For now it’s glued, but I’m either going to leave it or replace it. The only reason I would replace it is if moisture would get through over time but it seems fine. What do u all think? And Ps: the rip is on top of the side of the window closer to the rear. My pic is rotated for some reason.

I would replace it at sometime in the near future. It will eventually get worse. It could cause unwanted wind noise, ( a whistle)and a way for unwanted moisture into your cabin.
