I don't know if you caught on of my last posts about after a day of spirted driving the problem seems to have migrated to the other side but about 50% less.

And at WOT I get the Wiggle everyone else is talking about.

I didn't catch that, no. That's strange and "good", I guesS?

And I'm not getting any "wiggle" either...skipping/chattering tires when cold, yes...but everything is solid.

Granted, there's 5000+ miles on the car, now, multiple fluid changes and new tires. Not sure if that contributes to any of this saga. I am REALLY interested to learn what's causing it, though.

I just changed my Diff oil at 4,500 miles and now my car darts right under WOT. ZL1 A10. I'll be investigating this but after I put at least 100 miles on the new oil.

I took the car out last night, took my daughter for Icecream, and took the car on the highway and sure enough it pulls right now at the same rate as it used to pull left.

I will be bringing back to the dealer today so they can change bolts LOL

Interesting - mine went right hard today just before I passed on the right - almost like she said ... "Ok I got this no need to turn the wheel"

On hard acceleration I can feel what others have complained about which is the right left wiggle.

It feels like the ELSD is applying the clutches and releasing and applying and releasing.

The weather is keeping me from driving it at the moment.

I will update you with more info as I collect it.

I came to your same conclusion there, but upon having a real professional chassis builder/tuner/race-car driver (Jerry Onks) set the alignment specs where they need to be to be right in the middle of the factory alignment specs, the problem was fixed. If you do a little digging, you'll see people are finding the factory alignment on these cars to be WAY off where it needs to be. Mine was only in spec on one corner and that was with only 2500 miles.

Maybe you missed it, Jannetty racing specializes in Chassis scaling and alignments We have done 2 alignments, 1 street spec and 1 race spec, within a 1/10 of 1 degree and the dealer has done one per the request of GM so they can have it on record that it was done.

No alignment, chassis scaling, weight bias, tire pressure, tire swaps, with and without passenger, has any effect on this issue.

Car goes perfectly straight until you apply power.

Good luck with everything. My problem was not what you initially described - the constant pull to one side, but was rather the second thing you mentioned - the back-and-forth problem that many ZL1 owners have experienced. That's what the alignment fixed for me. Absolutely goes perfectly straight every time after that.

I hope you are able to get it sorted soon.

I hope GM can help you. But I wonder if making the Ediff standard on the ZL1 was a good idea. I want that 40 pounds back. Most of us do not have skill or will ever learn to drive the ZL1 @ 8-9/10s on a race track to realize the benefit of the diff. The diff makes good sense on the ZLE

My theory is the SS diff is just as strong as the ZL1 version. What do you think Ted? If mine acts up after the warranty I would look into the SS diff.

Just picked it up from the dealer after they said it was fixed LOL.

Does exactly the same thing, all that work changing bolts and another alignment for nothing.

I guess I don't know what I am talking about when I say it is in the diff.

I like the Idea of the E-diff if it works as expected.

Unplug the e-diff and then go take it for a drive. If the pull goes away...

dealer did that no change when it was pulling left I don't know if they tried that now that it pulls right
