Are the leather seats in Camaro made from real leather?

Is the leather actually made from animal skin or is it faux leather? I would have gone for 1LT straightaway if I had the same level of options available as on 2LT.

Yes they are real leather, not a fake or faux leatherette type.

Hmmm... I was hoping it would be faux leather... I try and avoid using leather products... but the damn options will not allow me to downgrade to 1LT...

Real leather... but there is a very thin vinyl coating over it (as with most seats since the late 90's) for stain resistance. You'd never notice it, but without it, they'd get nasty pretty quick.

Yeah.. My concern is more with the fact that the place I come from, we avoid using real leather. But I guess that there is no running away from it..

If it helps the cow was already killed by us porterhouse eaters anyways! It was not your fault. LOL So it makes it a recycled product and good for the environment.
