Good to know, yeah the dealer I ordered from, I believe they got an allocation for the 2021 order (because he asked me to confirm with GM a few weeks after placing the order) but the factory was shut down.

I'm thinking I'll probably get mine in December or January which will suck to not drive it much but oh well.

I’m from Vancouver BC,

2022 2SS 6MT coupe in Satin Steel with NPP and performance intake,

Ordered August 17th
TPW of October 4th
Built and awaiting final approvals on October 21st
Car was shipped on October 28th
Dealer says car will arrive anywhere between November 15th-29th

I’m happily surprised with the turnaround on all of this. Was expecting to wait until next spring/summer

1. Dealer told me they had allocation
2. Placed the order and have GM order number
3. Sitting at 1100.

Question... If the allocation was an issue, would the order be cancelled by GM, or would it just sit there in limbo forever? I think I understand the process very well (this is my 3rd ZLE), but in these times, these production delays were not an issue. The allocation was the real problem.

I guess I'm trying to figure out if we are just waiting for the constraints to be lifted, and that the allocation will not affect the order.

I think the wing is the issue with getting those cars built at the moment along with the global semiconductor shortage.

I ordered last May in Ontario and my allocation didn't change as well. I am guessing they are holding off so these are delivered after winter.

i ordered in june a 2022 1ss 1le m6 satin steel grey. Dealer will not give me any info on my order. Said he had an allocation but i doubt it now. I am still at event code 2030 (order edited by GM).... what does this mean ???

Means that GM has accepted the order, which is good on your part. That means the allocation was accepted and they are working to get the car to production. Not totally sure what it means, but I think that status occurs when the dealership makes a change to the order. Give it a few days and check again. You should be at 3000 (Accepted by Production Control) very soon.

I have been at 2030 status since April 14. It says current event: 1100. This for a ZL1 1LE order.

Just got a call from my dealer. The 22 Riverside Blue ZL1 Vert I order in July is at 4150 status. They said it should be here mid Dec.

As far as I know, you can not be at status 2030 AND 1100 at the same time. That being said, ZL1's have a constraint on them at the moment.

Hang in there guys. I ordered mine in august too (2SS convertible). It just got delivered out of the blue on November 3 to Mississauga. It surprised the dealership too by showing up. Going from a Gen 5 2SS I really can’t express how much more I love driving this car. It’s so amazing!

Thanks for the heads up. We looked at a black 2021 ZL1 vert at Sherwood Chev in February but it was sold to a buyer in Ontario. We also inquired about another one in Red Deer in March ish but it was sold too. We are going to ride out this order however long it takes. It’s at 3000 status the last I heard so it will get built, but your guess is as good as mine as to when that will happen.

Did you buy a blue one in Fort Mac?

No. I put down a deposit to hold one in Edmonton that is suppose to be here on Tuesday. It is missing some parts, so I was thinking to just order the missing add ons (it is more expensive to order the parts and add them on lol). Sherwood called yesterday and the one I ordered is at 4150 and should be here mid Dec.
